This is a series of drawings made with the camera.
They are shapes created by photographing one or more lines, which through movement and the exposure time of the camera are transformed into flat or volumetric shapes.
The reality of the image emerges by superimposing, permuting or juxtaposing different photos.
The meaning of the word Photography derives from the union of two Greek words meaning to write/draw with light. The artwork alludes to the very essence of photography.
I am interested in transparencies, spatial construction, capturing and revealing those points that are blind to our perception, that could go unnoticed and undiscovered.
Esta es una serie de dibujos hecho con la cámara fotográfica.
Se trata de formas creadas a partir de fotografiar una o varias lineas, que por medio del movimiento y el tiempo de exposición de la cámara se transforman en formas planas o volumétricas.
La realidad de la imagen surge superponiendo, permutando o yuxtaponiendo diferentes fotos.
El significado de la palabra Fotografía deriva de la unión de dos palabras griegas que significan escribir/dibujar con luz. La obra alude a la esencia misma de la fotografía.
Me interesan las transparencias, la construcción espacial, capturar y revelar aquellos puntos ciegos a nuestra percepción, que podrían pasar inadvertidos y sin ser descubiertos.
